Hi! I’m Alma. I’m an experienced Narrative and Level Designer. My passion and strength lies in blending the two disciplines together to create rich worlds that feel vibrant, alive, and authentic, immersing the player in experiences that resonate with them.
My work and projects focus on bridging and testing the limits between Technology and Narrative, which is why I constantly strive to unite them in my career. I started out as a Level Designer at The Sandbox, moving to Lyon, France, where I also served as the bridge between Narrative and Level Design teams and created the base lore for the game. After years of deep engagement with our engine I joined the development tech team in Buenos Aires to enhance our possibilities and build tools for our internal designers, first as a Senior Technical Level Designer, and then finally as a Gameplay Product Owner, driving a team of 15 people and taking ownership of the game mechanics and design.
I also gave a series of lectures on Level and Narrative Design catered to junior and intermediate students as a Visiting Lecturer in Punta del Este, Uruguay.
I currently reside in Buenos Aires, Argentina but can work in Europe.
In my free time I enjoy writing and reading, drawing and playing D&D. I have a published book of poetry (Mujeres Malas, ed. Bruta, 2018) and I participate in and organize cultural events in my local community.
